It seems my attempt to create a regularly-updated blog didn't exactly pan out. To update you all, I came home from New Mexico, completed a semester of school, and am currently home for a break. I completed much less than expected, but am hoping the next few weeks will be productive and that momentum will carry over even as I return to school in January.
I was pleased with the rather large shipments from Pendraken and Irregular I received over the summer. Among the purchases were some League of Ratsburg "men", armed Goats, and generic futuristic urban scum.

The two packages. It turns out the size is not necessarily proportional to the amount of miniatures inside. |

The contents: Irregular on the left, Pendraken on the right. |

Some of the Ratsburgers. I assure you they look much better in person. |

I finished a number (19) of the Space Ratmen, and am happy with the way they turned out. While I initially feared their pistols would not look great, a red strip painted on top to simulate some sort of plasma or laser made them look suitably science fiction-y. This group contains primarily "raygun" (pistol)-armed Ratmen while several boast anti-tank weapons and there is a single officer.

But these Rats didn't just get sealed today, they got their first taste of battle. While on the march, these intrepid Rats were ambushed by large, mutant insects that may or may not have had their origins at the dollar store.
Hopefully, these Ratmen will have their ranks bolstered in the near-future. Today, I washed, based, and primed the rest of my Space Ratman force, which includes a human officer attache and his signaller as well as Rat heavy weapons.
Up next on the agenda: basing the HotT Dogmen and all science fiction figures, acquiring several new storage containers (perhaps a one devoted to the Ratmen alone!)
